Kristina Barounis, the daughter of Fotios and Mary Barounis and the granddaughter of Triantafili Panou Primpas graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor of a Science in Quantitative Economics. She will be moving to New York City this June to begin working at JP Morgan as an Investment Banking Analyst.

Dean Karalis, the father of Peter and Melissa Karalis (Dinou) graduated from Southern New Hampshire College.

Panagiotis and Demetris Sakellaris children of Anargyros and Vasiliki Sakellari and grandchildren of the late Panagioti and Areti Sakellari on May 2, 2014 received their Masters degrees in Business Administration (MBA) from Northeastern University in Boston Massachusetts.

Panagiotis had graduated in 2004 from Thayer academy and in 2008 graduated  from Northeastern university with the degree in Electrical engineering (BSEE) and had been working at a consulting engineering and construction company in Boston for the last five years, recently he has been working with his father’s engineering  and consulting company and learning the family business.Demetris graduated in 2006 from Thayer academy and in 2010 graduated from Northeastern university with the degree in Electrical engineering (BSEE) and has been working with NSTAR electric. Demetris also at the end of June will receive his Master degree in Electrical Power systems Design from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (W.P.I) and he is a candidate to become a registered professional engineer (P.E.) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Both love our village of Vassara, have been there many times especially with their Papou Panagioti and are hoping to be able to visit it soon.

Mariah, the daughter of Tom & Georgia Janos from Weston, Massachusetts and granddaughter of Baso Stavropoulos, is graduating from Weston High School and will be attending Syracuse University this Fall, hoping to major in media communications and later pre-med.

Ireni, the daughter of Fotis & Maria Barounis from Westwood Massachusetts and granddaughter of Triantafilli Primpas (Panou), graduated from Boston University with BS degree in Health Science. Currently, she is working at the Boston University’s Dental department research.

Their other daughter Kristina, graduated from Westwood High School and will attending Tufts University in the Fall. Kristina played two varsity sports in High School, Ice Hockey and Soft Ball.

Nancy, the daughter of Manos & Areti Zaharakis, from Sharon, Massachusetts and granddaughter of Leonidas & Potoula Pappas just graduated from Quinnipiac University in Hamdem, Connecticut with a Bachelors of Science degree and will continue on next year to work on finishing her Masters degree in Business administration.

Dean, the Son of Peter & Melissa Karalis from Ashland, Massachusetts and grandson of Dino & Anna, is graduating this year from Ashland High School and is heading to New Hampshire College.

Laura, the daughter of Mike & Eleni McGrand from Mashpee, Massachusetts is graduating from Mashpee High School this year and going to Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts. Eleni is the daughter of Dino & Anna Karalis.

Nick, the son of George and Pamela Kondylis and the grandson of Peter Therios and the late Georgia, graduated from  Winchester High School and will attending Northeastern University school of Engineering.

Matthew, the son of Dean and Evangeline Calivas and grandson of Danny & Vasilia Laskaris and Rev. Alkiviadis and Presbytera Mia Calivas, graduated from Suffolk University with a Bachelor of Science degree, in Business Administration, Marketing.

Their younger son Damon, graduated from Medfield High School and will be attending the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.

Paul Janos, the son of Tom and Georgia Janos of Weston, Massachusetts And grandson of Vasso and the late Michalis Stavropoulos, graduated from Weston High School in 2010. He completed a Post Graduate year at Brighton Academy in ME in 2011, where he played Soccer and Rugby. He will be attending Fairfield University in Ct. this fall, school of Business.

Harilaos Varelas, the son of Panos Varelas and Voula Masganas, graduated from Choate Rosemary Hall School. He will be attending Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. In September. His parents and younger brother George, attended his graduation ceremony on June 5th. His brother George, also attends Choate Rosemary Hall and in September of this year he will be a Sophomore. We will be seeing a lot of Pano and Voula in Boston.

Nickolas Jiffas, the son of Dennis and Pauline Sakellaris-Jiffas and grandson of Maria Sakellaris and the late Pantelis, from Maryland, graduated from the Middle School of John Regional Catholic School earlier this past June. He will be pursuing baseball and track & field at Oakdale High School in the Fall.

Nickolas Gialousis,the son of Stavra Laskaris and grandson of Danny and Vasilia Laskaris, receved a Bachelor’s Degree from the Icenberg School of Management at UMass/Amherst in May of 2010.

Michael G Koufos, the son of George and Katheryn Koufos from Needham, Massachusetts. and the grandson of Anastasios and Magdalini Koufos & John and Dina Fenerlis, graduated from Needham High School, class of 2010. He will be attending Wentworth Institute of Technology School of Civil Engineering/Construction Management.
